While most platforms use simple electronic signatures, every signature on Rubrix is backed by a digital certificate — the same standard used by the federal government and the banking system. Full legal validity.
Certificate on every signatureWe charge a fraction of what other platforms charge for the same service. No dollar exposure, no end-of-month surprises.
Best valueAnyone with a bank account can sign a document in seconds. No app to install, no account to create, no prior certificate required. Open the link, review, scan the QR code, confirm a symbolic R$ 0.01 Pix transaction — signed.
Anyone can signWell-documented REST API. Automate workflows from your ERP or connect with N8N, Make, and Zapier without writing code.
REST API availableEveryone with a bank account has already gone through identity verification. It's the KYC the financial system requires for any transaction. FinanceID, a technology patented by Rubrix, puts that confirmation to work for anyone who needs to sign.
By scanning the QR code in their banking app and confirming a symbolic R$ 0.01 Pix transaction, the signer is identifying themselves — not just paying. The financial act is the act of identification. The signature is the consequence.
AC Rubrix issues a single-use certificate in the signer's name and signs the document. In seconds, with no installation, no prior certificate required.
Anyone with a bank account can sign with full legal validity — no digital certificate of their own needed.
See a demonstration →You don't choose a signing method. You choose how to identify yourself. Rubrix serves everyone from the person with a bank account to the professional with a qualified certificate. The digital signature is the consequence.
For anyone with a bank account. The signer makes a symbolic R$ 0.01 Pix transaction to confirm who they are: FinanceID validates their identity via banking KYC and issues a single-use certificate. No installation, no prior registration required.
For those who already have a qualified cloud certificate. Sign directly in the browser, no physical token required. The highest standard of legal equivalency in the countries where we operate.
For public agencies: use IDP Gov as an identification provider (e.g.: Gov.br) and automate internal signing workflows. Contact the team for integration guidance.
Simple REST, Bearer token or API key authentication, predictable responses.
Clear, straight-to-the-point documentation with examples in curl, Node, Python, and Go. Or integrate without code using N8N, Make, and Zapier.

Digital signing in Latin America runs on five standards: PSC (DOC-ICP-17), Cloud Signature Consortium, IDP Gov LATAM, FinanceID, and Uanataca SignBox. Each with its own specification, session model, and authentication flow. Rubrix implements all five and exposes a single API.
The ICP-Brasil standard for cloud certificates. A common interface for all authorized PSCs.
The international specification for remote signing. The gateway to providers outside Brazil.
Support for government identity providers across Latin America. Rubrix integrates the IDPs of each country without binding to any single national system.
A process patented by Rubrix: banking KYC converted into digital identity. Currently integrated with Pix; roadmap includes other instant payment methods across LATAM.
SignBox is Uanataca's enterprise signing API, an eIDAS-qualified provider from the Namirial group. Processing happens locally: only the document hash is sent to the Trusted Service Center. Supports bulk signing, LTV, and timestamping.
Yes. Rubrix signs with qualified certificates recognized in every country where it operates. Each signature carries local legal validity in the signatory's jurisdiction.
FinanceID and other identification methods use a single-use certificate issued by the Rubrix Certificate Authority. These documents have legal validity attested by consolidated court rulings.
An electronic signature is any form of digital acceptance — a click, a drawing on screen, an email. A digital signature uses a cryptographic certificate to guarantee the authenticity and integrity of the document. Rubrix works exclusively with digital signatures, offering the highest level of legal security.
The signatory receives a link, reviews the document and scans a QR Code with their banking app, making a Pix payment of R$ 0.01. FinanceID uses this transaction to confirm identity via banking KYC and issue a single-use certificate through AC Rubrix. The document is signed with that certificate. Takes less than 30 seconds.
FinanceID is a technology patented by Rubrix that converts a financial transaction into digital identity. When someone makes a Pix payment of R$ 0.01, the banking system has already confirmed who that person is. FinanceID uses that confirmation to issue a single-use certificate and sign the document. The act of paying is the act of identifying. The legally binding signature is the consequence.
FinanceID currently operates with Pix. The roadmap includes integration with other instant payment methods across Latin America, extending the same process to any country in the region.
No. Rubrix automatically issues single-use certificates during the signing process, via FinanceID or other identification methods. If you or your signatories already have a qualified cloud certificate, it can also be used in the same flow.
Yes. The digital certificate is embedded in the PDF itself. The proof of authenticity travels with the document and can be verified in any compatible reader (Adobe Reader, gov.br Verifier, LibreOffice) — regardless of whether Rubrix keeps operating. No vendor lock-in.
The platform was developed by the same team responsible for digital signature infrastructures in high-criticality environments. Documents are encrypted at rest and in transit. Rubrix does not store documents — they are available only for the time needed to complete the signing process and are automatically removed after that period. We comply with the legal privacy requirements of every country where we operate, with data processor agreements available for corporate clients.
Yes. To sign a document as a signatory, no account is needed. Just have access to the sent link and an identity provider, such as FinanceID. To create envelopes and send documents for signing, registration is required. Use without an account is controlled by national ID (CPF in Brazil, RUT in Chile and equivalents in other countries). To link your ID to an account, at least one FinanceID authentication is required.
Two modes. In direct mode, you upload the document, sign it and, if you wish, share a link with other signatories — simple, no configuration. In flow mode, you define exactly who signs: add signatories manually, organize them in queues or priority groups, set minimum quorum per group and choose each person's method. Signatories receive notification by WhatsApp and email, and you track progress in real time through the metrics dashboard.
Rubrix is not a storage service. The document is available on the platform for the time needed to complete the signing process. After that period, the file is removed from the servers.
The signed PDF remains valid. The digital certificate is embedded in the file and can be verified in any compatible reader, without depending on Rubrix. We recommend downloading the document as soon as signing is complete.
For long-term archiving with legal compliance, Rubrix LTA will be the dedicated solution. Coming soon.
